What is Mina and why do you stay there?
Mina is a valley near Makkah where all Hajj pilgrims must spend the nights of 10th, 11th, and 12th Dhul Hijjah. During the day, pilgrims walk to the Jamarat bridge to perform the stoning ritual. The closer your tent to Jamarat, the shorter the walk. This matters a great deal for elderly pilgrims.
